Participate in the Royal Volunteer Activity “We Do Good with Our Hearts” at the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta

On 18 July 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta and the Permanent Mission of Thailand to ASEAN, in collaboration with the Team Thailand agencies, PT PTTEP Indonesia, and the Thai private sector in Indonesia, organized “Lansia Siaga”, a volunteer activity in celebration of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the King of Thailand. The event took place at the Gerai Sehat Rorotan Clinic, located in the northern part of Jakarta. This clinic, established by PT PTTEP Indonesia, is dedicated to providing services to underprivileged patients.

The aim of this volunteer activity was to support the Gerai Sehat Rorotan Clinic in organizing the Lansia Siaga activity, which offered free health check-ups to elderly residents in nearby communities. During the event, Ambassador Prapan and officials from Team Thailand in Jakarta provided basic health check services to the elderly as well as distributed essential items such as vitamins and minerals, milk, dietary supplements, and disposable diapers to 150 senior participants.

This activity not only demonstrated the power of “volunteerism” which is in line with the Royal Guidance of His Majesty the King but also serves as a testament to Thailand's goodwill towards Indonesia. It also highlighted the Thai side’s commitment to working closely with Indonesia in promoting the well-being of the people in both countries.
